I have a 2005 Audi A4. This is an American car. What's involved in installing daytime running lights. Is it something that I can do myself?|||You need to hook the lights you want as your daytime running lights (parking lights, lowbeams, or fog lights or combo of any of those) to a a switched ingnition circuit, probably throught the use of another relay, or the existing relay for the lights you choose.|||I wouldn't try to do it myself. If you mess up anything in the electrical it is expensive to have fixed. If it was a 1985 K-Car, it might be different, but there is a lot that can be damaged by an accidental short, or any temporary crossed circuit. A dealer or any shop with an auto electrical specialist can enable DRLs for you pretty quickly.|||Check with your local Audi dealer service department. They may be able to code control module to turn this feature on.

You need to buy a DRL switch to install it in a slot to the right of 2005 A4 headlight switch.
