We LOVE our car BUT we have 2 children and we are toooo tight in the car. We need either a SUV or Wagon that has 3rd row or we may even consider (gulp) a Minivan but I would only be interested in a Quest or Odyssey. We would like to do an even swap with a newer vehicle. Any suggestions? How much do we ask for the Audi - it is in pretty nice shape? Should we go to a dealer? We've been burned on craigslist, so I would rather not go that route.|||If it is the 1.8T, trade-in is about $13.8K and private party sale is $15.2K with typical options. If it is the 3.0 V6, trade is about $16K and private party sale is about $17.9K.
As you can see, you will be better selling it yourself rther than trading. You can use your local paper or autotrader.com if you want larger area coverage.
You should be able to get an '05 Odyssey in the lowest (LX) trim level and pocket a little money. You should be able to get an '06 Quest except for the highest trim level for you A4.
If you can purchase from a private party, you will save approximately $1.5K.
