Anyone ever purchase an extended warranty for an Audi?

I currently own a 2003 Audi A4 and was thinking about going to the dealer and buying an extended warranty because I know how expensive they can be to fix. The car only has 25,000 miles so I already know it will qualify. My question is, has anyone ever purchased an extended warranty for their Audi/Volkswagen? What are your experiences with it? And does anyone have an idea of how much it costs just so I know what to expect?|||I hate to admit this, but I bought an extended warranty when I bought my used VW, waste of money, never used it.
