What is the average price a mechanic would charge for fitting a new sump to an audi a3 1.8 standard?

My sump on my audi a3 cracked and needs replacing but I want to know the average price a mechanic would charge for fitting one if I was to purchase it myself through main dealer.|||A main dealer will charge anything to 拢90.00 per hour, you may find a smal garage doing it for about 拢50.00 per hour but why don.t you try and do it yourself.|||This is around a 2hour 30 minute job so with average labour charges at around 拢45 an hour the bill should be approx.拢125 plus the parts and VAT.|||Hi There,

ie labour @ 拢60 p/h x 1.25hrs(0.25=15mins) = 拢75 + parts and vat.

Get several estimates.
