I am going to buy a 2003 audi tt. I am 16 years old and it will be in my name and i will be the owner.
It has 130,000 miles and was recently inspected.|||As you have asked in the UK and Ireland section of Yahoo Answers I have to say you wll not get insurance for one until you are old enough to have a licence and even then not untill you are around 21|||Alot.. You a super high risk driver to the insurance companies. Plus the Audi TT is considered a sports car so it might be higher than any regular coupe car. If I were you, put it under your parents name and yourself under their insurance for a year or two to established good driving record. Then transfer the ownership to you as a gift from your parents. Mileage isn't a factor at all for insurance companies. It's age, driving record, car, location and sometimes credit history. You can get a lowest rate possible for you but you might be compromising higher coverage and at risk if you cause a major accident with serious damages and injuries.
Edit: Just noticed this is posted in the UK site. Sorry.|||very very good car i owned one the 2003 is still the year when the car had a turbo for some serious BOOST! that will be a big factor with the turbo as for the year it will help you out but if ur taking a loan on the car look out very high insurance and if u have the tittle for it then it wont be to much hope it helped
