How much is it to replace a transmission on a 2002 Audi tt?

I'm looking at buying a 2002 Audi TT for 2k, but it needs a trans. Just wondering if anyone knows what that might run. Thanks!|||Depends on which trans it is. Nearly all Eurpean autmatics are made by the ZF company. They have a genuine factory rebuilder in this country. A fully remanufactured and tested and updated transmission cost about $2650. All other expenses, of course, are installation labor fees.
